We’re delighted to share that LGPS Central has achieved 5-star ratings across all relevant modules in the 2025 Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) Assessment Report—our strongest performance since becoming a signatory.

The PRI Assessment is a globally recognised benchmark that evaluates how effectively investment organisations integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into their policies, processes, and stewardship activities. This year, we earned top scores in every module assessed:

  • Policy Governance and Strategy
  • Indirect – Listed Equity – Active
  • Indirect – Fixed Income – Active
  • Indirect – Private Equity
  • Indirect – Real Estate
  • Indirect – Infrastructure
  • Confidence Building Measures

Our Summary Scorecard shows that we exceeded the PRI median across all modules, demonstrating consistent strength in stewardship practices, ESG integration, manager oversight, and transparency.

Alongside these outstanding results, we’ve also published our supporting Transparency Report, reinforcing our commitment to openness and accountability in responsible investment.

These achievements reflect our ongoing collaboration with Partner Funds and our dedication to advancing high standards of stewardship and ESG integration across public and private markets.

Richard Law-Deeks, CEO, said:
“These results are a testament to the collective effort of our team and the support of our Partner Funds. Together, we are setting a high standard for responsible investment and delivering long-term value.”

Sheila Stefani, Head of Stewardship, added:
“We are delighted to be recognised again as a leading responsible investor. We remain committed to transparency, robust manager due diligence, and constructive stewardship of our assets—always striving to create long-term value throughout our investments.”
